Poured from a 200mL bottle built for one glass, Adelia Prosecco Piccolo is a non-vintage sparkling wine made in the prosecco style from King Valley fruit in Victoria. It carries the same lifted, easy-drinking character as a full-size bottle, just without any leftovers.

The nose runs to pear, green apple and a light citrus lift, with a floral edge that keeps things fresh rather than sweet. On the palate the bubbles are fine and persistent, carrying that same orchard-fruit character through to a crisp, clean finish.

Being made for one pour changes what it's for as much as how it tastes: there's no decision about whether to finish the bottle, no flat leftovers in the fridge overnight. It's built for a solo treat, a picnic, a gift hamper or a hotel-room minibar, anywhere a full 750mL is more commitment than the moment calls for.

Drink it well chilled, on its own or alongside something light, such as smoked salmon blinis, a wedge of soft cheese, or simply as a start-of-the-evening glass with no other wine required.
