Swan Bay Shiraz / 2017 / 375mL
Description:
Deep purple in appearance. The bouquet displays a complex nose of ripe dark fruits, red berries and plums; with a touch of liquorice and chocolate. This is balanced by spice and well integrated cedar oak.
A full flavoured and complex wine which is dominated by plum, cherry and red fruits. This is rounded out by white pepper, liquorice and spice, with a cedary oak finish.
The wine gains overall balance from tight but fine grain tannins and acid. The palate is intense, long, and lingering.
This is a wine to be enjoyed over the next 2 to 4 years.
