Founded in 1997 by Kevin Mitchell, a member of one fo the valley's long established wine families; Kilkanoon has quickly gained the attention of influential critics on both sides of the Pacific.

Tasting Notes

A hand crafted wine made in very limited quantities, the Mort's Reserve is a unique blend of the best Riesling parcels from the Mort's Block and Khileyre vineyards. Cellaring potential at least twenty five years.

Appearance: 

Brilliant in clarity, almost translucent in colour with subtle green tints.

Nose: 

Intense citrus and lime flavours predominate the aroma and palate, and complemented by the cleansing natural acidity, provides a long rewarding flavour experience.

Cellaring Potential:

At least 25 years.
