Tasting Notes:

Cullen Mangan Vineyard Semillon Sauvignon Blanc displays aromas of tropical notes, freshly cut grass and lemon citrus.

The palate has plenty of drive and displays intense notes of limes, lemon and gooseberry. The oak treatment playing a second role here.

The wine was matured for 5 months in barrel of which 45% of the barrels were new.

Vintage Notes:

2016 was another exceptional vintage for the Mangan Vineyard.

A warm ripening period resulted in fruit arriving at the winery in superb condition.

Good rains enhanced the growing season with no rainfall at all during the harvest period.

Those good farming conditions have resulted in elegant and perfumed wines defined by great purity.
