Product Overview
Tintilla Estate is a family-run, 25 acre vineyard in Pokolbin in the heart of the Hunter Valley
wine growing region. Olive trees ank the vineyard with its mosaic of vines planted to match
the soils and slopes of the property, creating the unique terroir that produces our distinctive,
individual, award-winning wines. Their careful attention to the vineyard produces healthy
grapes with optimal ripeness and varietal character. Their low yielding vines produce rich and concentrated fruit with the acidity and tannins that lead to longevity with a softness
derived from the Hunter climate.
Tintilla Estate was given a five star rating by James Halliday in 2008, re flecting the consistency and quality of their wines.
Tasting Notes
An aperitif style of wine made by arresting the semillon ferment at a Beaume of 9 with pure alcohol. The wine is aged for 12 months in old oak & bottled as a vintage style. A complex wine best served chilled. At 18% alcohol it is a great party starter.
